Dr. Alkesh Kumar Soni is a Maternal and Fetal Medicine Consultant in Indore
Dr. Alkesh Kumar Soni, MD (Gyn and Obst), a superspecialist in fetal and maternal medicine in Indore, completed his MBBS from Gandhi Medical College Bhopal in 2005. He then completed his post-graduation in gynecology and Obstetrics from S.S. Medical College, Rewa, in 2009.
He then underwent a training course in infertility management under Dr. Asha Baxi at Indore in 2012. He further trained in Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynaecology under Dr. Archana Baser in the year 2014. His higher studies for super specialisation continued as a fellowship in maternal and fetal medicine under Dr. Bijoy Balakrishnan at Edappal Hospital Pvt Ltd at Edappal, Kerala, in the year 2019-2020. He is certified by the Fetal Medicine Foundation (FMF), UK, for the first trimester aneuploidy
screening, Pre-eclampsia screening, and screening for Fetal anomalies. He is involved in many academic activities such as training, CMEs, and conferences to keep himself updated in the field of Fetal and Maternal medicine.
Dr. Alkesh Soni also served as Asstt. Professor in the Deptt of Obst and Gyn in People’s Medical College and Research Centre, Bhopal, during the year 2009 to 2011.
He then worked as PGMO Obst and Gyn in District Hospital, Waidhan, Singrauli. During the year 2011 to 2014 and he was the first surgeon to perform the first caesarean section in District Hospital Waidhan.
He became the Director and Consultant at Siddharth Clinic, Waidhan, in the year 2012 and worked there up to the year 2019. He specialised in infertility, Obstetrics, and Gynaecology Ultrasound there during this period.
His experience and expertise then promoted him to the position of Founder, Director, and Chief Consultant at Mrityunjay Hospital and Research Centre, Waidhan. There, he developed an interest in fetal medicine, and he cleared the entrance examination for a Fellowship in Maternal and Fetal Medicine. He moved to Kerala for the fellowship in the year 2019.
After completion of the fellowship, he moved to Indore and worked in Indira IVF center, Asian Institute of Infertility management, and Aakash Hospital here.
Presently he is the Founder, Director and Consultant of Aarambh Fetal Medicine and Genetic Centre at Indore. Though the location of the centre is at Vijayanagar currently, but the new premises of the centre is being developed at LIG, near CHL Apollo Hospital Indore.
With his vast experience and exposure to fetal medicine, Dr. Alkesh Soni brings new hope to parents. His knowledge of the latest technology in this specialized branch of Genecology and Obstetrics makes him the only one in this area to provide relief to the worried parents of infants and yet to be born foetuses with may be some complications.
